Where Do You Intend To Go In Life?

“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 AMP

Father has perfect thoughts towards you and has a perfect plan He wants to bring about in the Believers life.  I personally believe that is so with each and everyone of is at Brandon Assembly and in the Body of Christ.

Several months ago the Holy Spirit was impressing upon my heart to be intentional about seeing vision manifest in our Church Family.  I personally believe that if we as people don’t begin to commit ourselves to God’s purpose in our lives then we will not see those things come to pass.  Some may have difficulty with this thought and feel if God wants to do something, He simply will.

Philippians 2:12-13,  “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”

Notice it says you work out some things and God work some things in you.  God’s Spirit works with us, not just in us.

That being said, I feel it’s time we ask ourselves, “What is God asking me to do with and in my life?  And what am I willing to do about it?”

It’s time for every individual to determine what they must be intentional about doing in order to get to their desired destination.

Brandon Assembly exists to be a Church on a mission and a Church that makes a difference in this world.  And that is something that is on our hearts to pursue and accomplish.

For Brandon Assembly to better serve you and our community in this process we are establishing some things to better help the process.  As well as strengthening some things already in place.  This is apart of our effort to facilitate the moving and working of Holy Spirit in the lives of our people

  • Next Steps Class

These will be classes held once a month covering one of three topics.   What we Believe, what we value, and why we do what we do.  These will help individuals who are wanting to learn more about our Church as well as individuals who are considering joining our Church Family.  These class’ already began.

  • Life Groups (small groups)

These will be small groups that meet and have a time of fellowship, reflection, and prayer with one another and the Word of God.  This will help us grow spiritually as well as emotionally and relationally with one another.  We will build friendships, love, and commitment in the Body of Christ.  Life Groups will begin in August

  • “Go Serve” Teams

This will give us opportunities to learn how we effectively serve the community and the Body of Christ.  We will have training opportunities in various ministries as well as us going out into the community and serving those in need.  “Go Serve” will begin in July.

  • Ministry Training

I have a passion for seeing leaders raised up in the Body of Christ.  We have been actively doing ministry training at Brandon Assembly since February of 2019 and have already seen fruit from it.  We will continue to improve this along the way.   This is to teach individuals how to effectively minister to others on an individual level as well to a group whether large or small.  Ministry Training will take place monthly and some months, a couple times per month.
